LOLLL!
This company should be named "Make Believe Inc."
My suggestions to this amazing company:
* a fake TPMS sensors look alike, displaying a fixed 33 in the center monitor
* a plastic hitch that would attach by clipping it to the rear bumper
* a fake Bose radio faceplate covering a Lloyds or Candle 8-track radio
* a fake backup camera using a permanent JPG file of a front bumper
* fake ABS brakes that produce the quick tick-tick sound when depressed to impress your ride.
Any other ideas guys to help this impressive company make a living? |

We are all laughing at this guy, but the joke is on us. I bet this guy will sell hundreds of these "sunroofs" to people who are more concerned with looks rather than function. Just look at the kids who install trunk-mounted wings on their 4-cylinder econoboxes, or install "fart cans" on their Geo Metros. I have even seen a FWD Chevy Impala SS with over-sized tires on the rear. Some people value looks over function.

I did this in 1992 when I was 16, I had a 1987 Toyota Camry LE with no sunroof, I used black contact adhesive vinyl; looked good. However in the summer it tried to bubble up. |

OR, people buying it as a joke! $25 is a little steep, but I'd love to get one and put it on my wife's car, just to see how long it would take for her to notice, and to see what her reaction would be! :)
If it was $10, I might have to try it, just for giggles! :D |

Well, I have seen vehicles with lenses tinted violet/blue; there is a Jetta I pass every day on I-20 that has them. |

Would you be interested in mine for $10? It did not fit on my AMX. I did peel off one corner, but realized the rust would not let it look smooth.
Postage and handling, add $15. $30 for Fed-Ex overnight. |

woossh-
Please tell us you are joking. Sure, it would be okay to put the sunroof decal on a Javelin, but not on the AMX. That would be a sin.
Those AMX's were quick little cars. They were only good for two people, but fun none the less.

Actually, I sold the AMX in '70. Traded in on a '70 'cuda 440+6 Convert. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHhhh!!!!
The Mx'er was a lot of fun to drive since you sat about a foot in front of the rear wheels. Great for cornering. It was a '68 390 Go pack.
The 'Cuda had a BIIIIIGGGGGG sun roof. |

It actually did not, and you have a point there. Nevertheless, people still believe things without putting too much thought into it. I know a few personally.....:D |

| Some of you may be old enough to remember the first air conditioners in cars. The unit took up most of the trunk, and had plastic tubes coming up through the rear window shelf, to direct the cool air forward. I think that Cadillac was the first to have the option. So almost at once, fake air condition kits came out, consisting of only the plastic tubes. People drove around with their windows up so that people would think they had air conditioning. I suspect that the sweat running into their eyes might have ruined the effect. |

OK. I am going to REALLY date myself.
Does anyone remember the "swamp coolers" that would hang on the car wondow?? You would fill the tank with water and the air flowing through and into the car would be cool and give the feeling of A/C
I was a small girl at the time. |

| wchandler |
| Hey, evaporative coolers are not THAT old. Oh, wait, it has been about 60 years! They worked only in the southwest, where the usual relative humidity was quite low. And there were stationary ones for the house; they were quite common before home air conditioning was available. |
