Just wondering if people that have/had the windguard think it is worth having? Does it cut down on the wind noise or just block the airflow?
thanks. |

| It would be a great addition in fact if this was a real sunroof. But with not even a 12 in opening, I personally find that adding the windguard simply makes it a useless feature since it takes away another few inches. Some people were happy with the result but I do prefer a little more sun even if it means having more wind noise. |

| I was planning to get one as soon as I bought this car. But I really dont notice much wind noise and I like the cleaner look, so I never got one. |

| For those who have roof rails already should get the sunroof wind deflector because it goes well with the rails in my opinion. The wind deflector definitely cuts down on the wind noise when the sunroof is open. Now, if I did not have roof rails, it would have been a whole different story as far as retaining that clean look. |

| Mine came with one, but I took it off. Much better without. |

| i found that the sun roof has a little pop up deflector that keeps wind noise at a very acceptable level. But really, it doesn't look bad at all with the roof rails, so I'm in agreement with the fellows above. |

Started without one, then added it. Here's my opinion:
With the sunroof open all the way, it's quite a bit QUIETER with the deflector.
With the sunroof "tipped up" it is much LOUDER with the deflector.
So, which do you usually do? Open it all the way, or just tip it up? That might make your decision. Mine is usually open all the way, or not at all, so I like the deflector.
Note that I have the roof rail crossbars. I'm not sure if they change the noise at all in either case. |
