All right, I received the fender bought off ebay, as far as I can see the color matches perfectly (the sunlit copper - R10). Now I can't wait to have it installed to see how it fits. I have the Murano maintenance CD and it lists the steps for the removal,
1. Remove the front bumper. Refer to ...
2. Remove the headlamp. Refer to ...
3. Remove the front fender protector. Refer to ...
4. Remove the mounting bolt and remove the front fender.
I know I should follow all the steps, however I really want to learn the hits/tricks from you who have already done the job before I jump onto it!
Thanks in advance! |

well I did it once and I did not remove either the bumper, headlamp or front fender protector.
I just loosen up the plastic around the tire, remove couple of those plastic clips, bend it to be able to stick my hand and reach to few screws in there,If I remember you need to open the door to reach a screw thats by the door frame and open the hood to reach few of 'em there too.
but like I said no bumper, headlamp or front fender protector need to be removed for that. |

Thanks enamurao! You are saving tons of time for me! I'm so glad that we have such a forum like this one. I will post some photos out once the job is done. |
