| I was wondering, my murano that I just bought came with 40 PSI in all the tires, I was just wondering if that was ok or should I put out the air to 33 PSI on all tires? Thx for the responses in advance. |

Everybody runs different pressure.
40 is high and will give you a harsh ride, tho it should corner like a cat!
It will also wear your tires in the middle of the tread.
33 is reco'd by Nissan and works OK.
I personally run 33 in the rear and 35 in the front.
Just a holdover from the old days.......I'm making a token gesture at reducing the inherrant understeer in the Murano (In all FWDs actually).
I would reco trying 33 (all the way around) and moving it up a pound or two untill you don't like it, then back off.

passion4jdm-
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new MO.
All MOs are shipped from Japan with 40+ psi in the tires. The dealer is supposed to check and adjust the air pressure as part of the dealer prep that you paid for. Obviously your dealer skipped that part of the checklist. Like Homer said, lower it to 33, ride it for a bit, and then adjust it to your liking.

| thx joe for the welcome. I didnt know that there was a dealer prep, I must talk to them about it, thx for the info and the much needed response. And homer, I'll try taking it out to the recommended psi, then try putting on some, but 40 psi do feel cat like, lolz. |
