| Just trying to gauge interested here. How many people would be willing to pay $350 or so for a performance Y-Pipe for the Murano. This would be a 20 to 30 minute install and probably yield about 8 to 12 whp and 10 to 16 wtq. |

But you wouldn't be able to SEE it unless you crawled under the car.
No gratification there! |

Please lets be nice here. The Ypipe is a legitamate performance modification that has worked very well on VQ engines in the past. |

If there is enough interest, Cattman Performance - who makes Y-Pipes for the Altima and Maxima - would be willing to tweak their existing Y-Pipe to work on the Murano. I'm just trying to see how many people would buy it so I can say "X # of people will buy your Y-Pipe for the Murano". He's already told me that he would be willing to tweak it if there is interest.
As for seeing it...you can't see a CAI unless you pop the hood? Whats the big deal? |

The MO's y-pipe is of a poor design. It looks to be made from rectangular stock in an effort to maximize ground clearance. A freer-flowing, large-diameter pipe would have performance benefits, however those benefits would rarely be felt due to the nature of the CVT.

Cattman! I had a Cattman Ypipe on my Maxima and it was an outstanding product. Happy to hear that Brian is still in business after all these years. I wonder if he remembers me, I was one of the very first to buy a Ypipe from him.
I can't say that I'd commit until I see the actual product and dyno results. The Cattman pipe on my Maxima eliminated two precats but retained the stock cat, and it was still good enough to pass emissions. I doubt that is possible today anymore, so I'm guessing we'd be looking at a downstream precat/ upstream cat design only here? |

The ones he's made for the 2004+ Maximas come in 2 flavors...with and without the cat. To have the high speed cat in ads another $150 or so to the cost...so around $500 to $550 shipped. Luckily I'm in a state without emissions testing :) |

| From the responses posted ,there don't seem to be very many people interested in the item. But if there is a will there is a way. More power. It can be and will be done.:toothless |
