In the process of trading in my 2005 MO for FX 35.

Have had over 60,000kms trouble free motoring and would recommend the MO to anyone.

Was collecting MO after 60K service and was offered a deal on a brand new 2006 model FX 35, just couldn't refuse it. :)

When I was in the market for an SUV, I drove the Murano first, then a bunch of others, MDX, 4Runner, Blazer, Pacifica.. and yes the FX45...

Now the FX45 was like driving a race car I thought. The pick up was amazing, the turn radius, awesome, the way it didn't lean around turns, unbelievealbe... but it was small I thought... reminded me of my old 240sx... tight on the inside. I felt closed in. The Murano was much more open. That is why I didn't end up with it.

Good luck with it though... that is why they make so many different cars... everyone has different taste... even though I don't understand why everyone doesn't love the Murano... it's Fn awesome !! :D

I agree on the feeling of space, but there are only two of us.

I still like the MO and its now out of warranty (can't get 5 year warranty in the Gulf), so liking the FX we decided to trade.

Maybe trade the FX for the 2008 EX in a couple?

A brand new car that's 2 model years old?

Models in the Gulf are different than the States.

Its got 1.4 KMs on the clock and been in the showroom for 6 months, there are 3 for sale. It's not 2 years old!

The new models have just arrived; hence the good price

Good luck with the Infiniti. You really did not leave the Nissan family though.

Case in point, I got a service coupon from Nissan that has an oil change for 26.95 and they say they service Infiniti on the coupon.
I called Infiniti and they charge an amazing 42 bucks for an oil change but they give you a free car wash.

I said I had a coupon for the Nissan dealer down the street and they told me to come by and they would honor it. They offered the free car wash to boot but my car was immaculate and I turned down the car wash but got my oil changed with the Nissan coupon.

See, one big family.

Thanks,

Servicing, like petrol, in the Gulf is cheap my 60K was only 160 bucks exclusive of new power steering and timing belts (another 150 bucks).

Petrol is about 15 cents a litre so running a car here is very cheap.

Anyway the Infiniti after sales looks good and, moreover, looking forward to picking it up soon.
