Need A VIN # FOR A MO w/OEM Navigation & Charcoal Interior - Click HERE for Original Thread

Folks,

If someone with a MO that has OEM navigation and a charcoal interior would be willing to share their VIN with me I would greatly appreciate it. I need to order a navigation trim part for the OEM navigation I added to my MO, and the dealer needs a VIN for a MO with OEM navigation & charcoal interior in order to order the correct part. I can't use my VIN because of course it didn't ship from the factory with navigation, so it is not comprehended in my VIN. I don't think the model year is relevant. Please PM the VIN to me if you don't want to post it on the site.

You are kidding, right? Tell the lazy-@ss partsman behind the counter to get off his butt, walk into the showroom, and get a vin# from one of the chain-smoking, stained-tie-wearing salesmen.

This is a new low for customer service.

They asked me for a vin when I was looking to order my tweeters for my Mo. I told them it did not have tweeters and asked them to look up the part based on a 2005 SL. It was not a problem since interior color does not matter.

The difference they need it for you of course is the color matching. But as nj mentioned, have them go to the showroom or you can look on ebay.

Thanks for the BRILLIANT suggestion to check eBay. I found a VIN for an '06 SL MO with charcoal interior and OEM navigation, so I am all set!! Great suggestion!
