Needing to buy a car cover for the Mo.. Want something good, but don't need something good enough for nuclear fallout.. Any ideas or suggestions?? The nissan parts guy told me that the nissan one is crap.

Thanks in advance

I don't have one but there are several kinds being sold on eBay. Search under Nissan Murano Car Cover. I would recomend starting there and read each description to see how they differ.

Are you looking for a lightweight dust cover for you garage-kept MO, or a more durable cover to protect it from UV-damage, birds, and rain? I assume you don't need an extra durable cover to protect your MO from hail and snow.

Yep.. don't need one for hail or snow.. need it more for the morning irrigation sprinklers and the overspray they bring.. Can't park in the garage for the time being.

Thanks!

Weathershield car covers.
They make special car covers for places with LOTS of rain.
Seems to me that Sprinkler systems every day would qualify.

I understand they are quite expensive.

What ever you get, make sure it's good for UV too. Otherwise the thing will come apart rather quickly.
A good one should last for years.

This Dupont Material is wonderful in a car cover, Lightweight, just grab it and stuff it in the bag.

Will not mildew, Complete resistance to UV, Dust tight, Stick it in the clothes washer to clean, Breathable.

Car covers can convert the dust on your car to mud and then as they move they abrade the finish badly.

So Light, Washable etc. I went thru 4 different covers on a Mercedes we had to park outside before I found the right one to use.

Griot's Garage (www.griotsgarage.com) has several types of excellent car covers. I have had two so far. They each have lasted about 5 years in the hash Las Vegas,Nevada environment.

I have a Nissan MO cover. Quality is good. Bought it when Mo was new. Used it when I vacationed in Florida.

No use for it now. Will sell it cheap.
