Putting 20" PVD OEM accessory rims (403005AA4A) on a SL

I prefer the 20" accessory PVD 5 spoke rims (403005AA4A) to the standard issue Platinum rims, so I ordered the SL instead on 18". I know there are some other safety feature differences on the Platinum but I was in it for the rims, so I went SL expecting to change up.

I will sell off the stock SL tires and rims at purchase and go Nokian All Weather tires WRG3 SUV (All Weather not All Season, as I am in Canada) to avoid switching back and forth for $250 each year. I installed these recently on my 2013 Lexus RX 350 in 255 width x 19" and like them so far as they are quite a smooth ride. (the Murano is to be my wife's vehicle)

I like a wider profile, so I plan on going 265/50R20 on the Murano SL in place of the stock 235/65/R18. Not much of a diameter difference to the Platinum as the struts are rather close, but the width looks to be OK at plus 1.18". The 265's need a 7.5" rim which we have in both Murano options. And I believe the offset on the 2015 Murano is 50 with a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern on both the SL & Platinum.

Nissan Accessories are on sale now for 25% off in the U.S. until end of July, so this looks to be a favourable time to do this right at delivery which is expected in the next couple of weeks.

Sound like a plan? Pics attached of both the 20" PVD's and the 18" stock SL wheels..

I like the look of the PVD wheels- quite aggressive. But I also really like the machined surface of the Platinum wheels, first time I've had a rim that wasn't painted.

Thanks for the link, but I much prefer putting on aftermarket rims to the oem 20's.I just hope not to take away the softer ride by putting on bigger wheels.

We test drove both and really could not tell the 20" from the 18"s. I should have the Murano OEM 18" wheels & OEM Continental CrossContact LX Sport tires in a week or two, if anyone is interested. i.e. will have virtually no miles on them as I will switch as soon as the car arrives.

However I am near Toronto, so it would be better if you were not so far away.

See deal attached for 25% off on the 20" PVD rims and other Nissan accessories. And this is off an already discounted on-line price as shown.

New Murano now here with 20" PVD's installed

Just thought I would share my wife's new SL AWD ride, for those not yet having seen these optional 20" wheels with 265 meats on them. The Nissan OEM trailer hitch is also shown for those wondering how that looks.

Are those 265/50r20? I'm looking to do the same on a 2015. I thought 255/50r20 was a better fit but would like to go wider if it's possible.

I went wider for a better grip on tight corners (Like having to pull across traffic quickly.) and ride. Just be aware that your mileage will go down as the tire get wider, if that's something that you care about.

Have a good day.
