Seat cover in back for dog and kids

Hi,
Any recommendations on a seat cover for the back seat? My wife insists on one since we have a small dog and somewhat young kids.

Walmart has a blanket thing which hangs from the headrests for $18. Semi-fitted covers are about $50 on eBay. The semi-fitted covers would be fine price-wise as long as they are actually close to fitting.

Anyone cover /protect their back seat and have a recommendation?

Dan

EDEALYN New Universal Ultrathin Antiskid Car Seat cushion

In case the link doesn't work, name above, I recently looked at this for another car but have NOT ordered it so you'd have to go from reviews on amzn. I have ordered something for the front seat for my Rav4 from the company but have not received yet.

Something that doesn't try to fit around the seats (would likely pop off if not custom fit) might be easier to manage. Most of kid and dog grime shows up on bottom cushion. An occasional blanket or towel when needed and some protective spray might be sufficient for back and headrests.

Nevermind spray reference, I was thinking of my cloth seats.

I see them advertised in car magazines, and there are many options found online. Not a user, though.

I have these :

and pretty happy with them. I do not have kids or pet so I can not provide endurance data under those conditions.

Thank you I ordered the Edealyn PU leather rear seat cover in black. Shipping takes a while from China and it was $36. Hopefully it is good like the reviews say.

The website states "made with pride in the USA" so I'm not sure why it would ship from China. Regardless, this does look like a good option for us because we do have a (non shedding) dog.

Have you considered a crate? My dog is about 20 lbs, and I put her in a crate in the way back. I feel like she would be small enough to become a projectile in an extreme braking situation, so it's probably safer for her in that regard.

Back seat cover arrived (very fast shipping considering it came from China - eBay had the tracking info all the way).

I really like it for my purpose of keeping dog scratched off the back seat. However, I got the normal 53" size. I saw some were 54" or even 55". I think mine is between 1" and 2" too short. But I really like it and it will serve my purpose well.

Looks pretty good! I took delivery of my new Murano today and pop down to Walmart to see what they have. Bought a Dickies Bench Protector that is water resistant. Will fit it this afternoon and provide feedback.

PS: I have cloth seats with two toddlers, so need to splash-proof anything within throwing distance!

This hearkens back to the day when my grandparents covered their furniture in clear plastic so us grand kids wouldn't get them dirty. God, how I hated sitting on that plastic. Give the poor kids a break and let them sit on the seats. Being black leather/pleather, they aren't going to show dirt.

It was a wife's requirement. ? At least she let me pick out the seat cover (her twin sister covered leather seats in a t-shirt material, so at least I don't have to live with that).

The Walmart one got terrible reviews. There are decent priced and higher rates ones on Amazon. And they come in beige or gray to mimic your interior.

The Dickies cover isnt too bad. Seems to be a rebranded Australian product. The seatbelt holes should have been an inch or two closer for a perfect fit.

Remember it is hidden by two carseats for the kids, so it is functioning more like a splash cover than seat cover Halwg!

Do you still like it? I have one for front seat and deciding about getting for the back seat, for a Rav4 so don't think the size will be a problem.
