How do you find them overall? I had Micheline before and I think they were a lot softer compared to Conti, especially on small cracks and sharp edgy potholes our roads are full of.
I have a nail on the sidewall of my rear passenger side. Said they couldn't patch it up.
So not a good first impression of Continental for me. I'm use to using General Grabber ATX and Cooper Discoverer RTX tires which both has nice rugged threads and they last a long time
So Michelin LTX are the way to go? I want a rugged tire
You do realize that most if not all places will not patch/fix a tire with a puncture in the sidewall
I hope because of that, your first impression of the Continental's is not the reason for the negative impression.
I don't like them only because they wore out so fast, the first year was great, 2nd year not too bad, 3rd year they were no good in the rain or snow, and not so grippy in the summer, and I have less than 25 thousand kilometers on them, I will now get a set of dedicated winter tires, and a new set of summer tires and rims.....
