Ask them before they ship it, they all ship via DHL, you usually get it within 1 week.

You can always return it once you received it, but shipping back to China is very expensive and takes a long time, they require you to ship it via USPS.

I have dealt with Dasaita in the past returning a failed unit, and there were no issue. But took like one month for them to receive it.

I basically have the same concern you do with regards to CarPlay so I've been quietly but intently watching to see what kind of success you have. Thank you for asking lots of questions and thanks in advance for the updates. Good luck man....

Guys, I have a 2015 Platinum. I have read pretty much all the thread but still not clear of what would be the best Android Unit to buy. Would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

These are my choices:

1- Joying ( Not yet available, no ETA as to when it will be available to purchase)
Joying has a very good reputation and good hardware, also good customer service.

Both Apple Carplay and Android Auto are integrated natively.

They also have a large community over at xda forum

2- OWNICE - C-800 HIGH (See post above)

They have been around for a while and also have a good reputation. You can see above post for more info. They are running the latest android 9 (pie) + wireless Carplay natively is optional.
More expensive of the bunch at $400

3- Dasaita
Their software is very good and stable, running the latest android 9, and good customer service.
I don't like their bezel, as it sticks out too much ( not flush)

As far as sound quality, they all use the same amplifier and all have built-in DSP (8 channel equalizer), radio FM/AM chipset is also the same.

I ended up canceling my order before it was shipped for the Dasaita 9.0 and put my order in for Ownice K-3. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Thank you, please do..! I had wireless CarPlay via Alpine aftermarket deck in my prior vehicle and loved it so much. If this works even half as well as that did...

Thanks Assad. All of them support the 360 cameras ? I asked that to Ownice but they answered everything except if they support 360 cameras. This is their answer

"Whether support 4G LTE?
---K1 only support external 4G dongle for net
---K2 support SIM card to 4G net and calling.
---K3 don't support 4G.

Whether support rear camera, front camera?
---K1, K2 only support rear ccamera
---K3 support rear camera and front camera.

Whether suppport the AV-Out ?
---K1, K2 support AV-Out,
---K3 don't support AV-Out (If need this function, need pay 10usd to buy it, and this function only can add before factory product the item)

Whether support Carplay function?
---K1,K2 support optional external carplay dongle(It is 49usd/pc), but K3 don't support external carplay dongle.
---K3 can add built-in wireless carplay function, if need this function, need add 30usd/pc (Noted, only can add this function before product this item, if you already get, then can not add this function).
If want to buy K3 with built-in wireless carplay function, then can buy this link together:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/-/33012729821.html"

Whether suppport external dvd box ?
---K1, K2 support
---K3 don't support

They assured me it does plus I found this link on YouTube for a Nissan vehicle installing the K-3 that had the 360 camera

So after all this time of going back-and-forth and finally picking the unit and giving them all the information they could possibly need they still sent me the wrong wire harness. Very Frustrating.

Ah these Chinese company, all they see is $$$, they are so in a hurry to sell you something.
This has happened to another member here also.

I know it must be very frustrating to remove your radio just to find out the connector does not match.

Ask them to send you the right one, send them the pinout diagram of your radio also, so they can get it right.

The 20-pins should fit though, you wilf get sound, but no backup camera or SWC, since those are located on the 40 pin connector.

Does this mean we need the 40 pin connector to get SWC and 360 camera? My unit is due to arrive next Tuesday but won't get a chance to install until Im home again in July.
Does anyone have the diagram with the pinouts for the radio with the 40 pin connector?

Let me know how you get on dealing with them. I'm guessing trying to change the harness on your own is not that straightforward?

Hi Assad

I'm about to order the same radio that Eric ordered but not sure about the connectors. I have a 2015 platinum, what should I ask to them? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks.

I'm starting to think if the Dasaita would avoid all these problems with the harness. For someone with very little knowledge about this I'm looking for something plug&play.

Any advice? I'm ready to buy but not sure which one yet

Thanks.
