Depends on which trim level you're looking to purchase.

Except for the changes to the console layout, a 2017.5 would be a much better value if you use an iPhone and want to use Apple CarPlay. The 2018 model added Android Auto. All the safety options that they upgraded to standard on the 2018 lower trim levels were standard on the 2017.5 Platinum.

Oh yeah, if you have a burning need to open the rear hatch by waving your foot under the rear bumper, then go for the 2018!

Hope this helps and take care!

I don't know about the 2015-2017, but the ACC cutout on my 2017.5 looks exactly like what's pictured for the 2018.

I see that they also moved the memory seat buttons from under the door armrest to just in front of the door handle. I think the new position is better, but the buttons themselves look cheaper than the old ones do. They've also blacked out the headlight bezels... at least on most of the ones I saw on cars.com. Not all of them have them though.

probably different hardware. Just because the screen looks the same, doesn't mean the internals are the same.

So there is no major changes in the 2018 Murano beside that open compartment in the center console, and making some features standard.

I wish they had smoke tail light as they do on the 2017 Rogue, those look so much nicer and would make the car really stand out.

I also see that they discontinued the sunset pacific color, since that option is not available anymore when you build to price

I would say if you were waiting for the 2018 but aren't interested in Android Auto or the minor interior revisions, take advantage of the huge discounts on the 2017.5 models. I have seen some discounted as much as $10,000 off. That sucks for resale value & accelerates depreciation but helps with the upfront expense.
