Steering Wheel Cover

Hi all. My new to me '15 Plat has the heated steering wheel. I don't use it often and the few times, very briefly, but the wheel itself feels plain and I miss my padded leather wrapped wheel from previous rides.

Anyone ever do the leather wrap? Not the plastic thick one piece, but the stitch on leather? Any reason the heated wheel and the wrap don't get along?

Thanks.

I've used Wheelskins cover on a Toyota Tacoma.
It came out great. Almost like a factory leather wheel. Lots of options for color.
The one drawback is it takes a long time to do it right.
I used the double stitch/baseball method.
Took me the better part of the day.

Did mine.

Only when completed found that it is a tad shifted. Whatever.

I did put it on wet, so it would stretch better. What you see is a wet-undried version. I'll add the way it looks now, when it dried up. No sagging as you see in the pic below.

Well, it seems like the wheel was designed for a female sized grip. Those with manly hands find comfort in a thicker circumference.
