I saw this sequential sideview mirror LED on aliexpress and wanted to try them out. They are called Sequential led, Dynamic LED, or Running LED. I first saw this type of turn signal on a Audi and thought they looked really cool.
They are a perfect match for the 3rd gen murano.
Removing the sideview mirror cover is not that hard, just take your time and make sure you do not break any tabs when pulling out the cover.
The murano OEM LED on the sideview mirror is a single LED shining on a glass tube, that's why the light is not uniform, and not that bright, you can barely see it during the day.
This new LED is 10 times brighter, you can see it very well during the daytime ( you can see the difference in the video)
What you guys think? Worth the effort?
I know PaulDay would love this one, lol
Instructions included in the pics...
|thanks for your information. Yeah , we are going to produce the dark lens . and for the connectors is quite complicated for so many different car models. we may need do special one for each type, some of our customer can not do plug and play , they just cut the wires like you said. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, we may time for improving.|
I like the look on the mirror, but the rest of the signal lights are in four way flasher mode.
In the video the mirror is singling a left turn and the front lights are in the four way flashing mode. The two front left turning lights should be flashing only.
I believe in flasher mode, the front turning lights as well as both mirror lights flash. In the video when he does the walk around, the passenger side is flashing but is much less brighter than the drivers side. So from far away it appears that it is just the left turn light.
