Lightbulb DIY: Enhance your rear view

The rear seats have an ability to be slightly reclined. This minimizes the cargo space a tad but the rear seats become lower and don't obstruct the back window as much.

This is better than just taking the headrest pillows off.

Now, if you really want to enhance it beyond DIY:

This panoramic mirror is super: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001A0J2JO

(pic taken before I reclined the back seats)

Before I had another mirror, then bought the one I recommend above, this one is way better as it zooms in and magnifies the rear view. The one I recommend is on the bottom and my previous one (now in trash) is on the top in the picture: https://i.imgur.com/WWPUwQj.jpg
Sorry for a dark pic, I'll post day time pic soon.

The way I positioned the mirror is I can see the back and through the passenger side windows.

Note that if you need access to garage door opening buttons, you can rotate it 180.

Reclining the rear seats really does help a LOT for rearward viability, thank you for the idea!

I agree with assad regarding the pano mirror, I'm not willing to give up the stock mirror's features.
