2009 Murano Ride & Drive Videos

AutoNetwork.com has several videos on YouTube from the Nissan Ride & Drive event for the media (which seems to be the source for most of the "first drive" reviews).

The two most interesting are:

Nissan Murano Features: This one goes in-depth on the redesign, including the thought process for certain decisions.

Walk Around

Of note: the on-sale date is indeed early January 2008. The features presentation states the on-sale date is January 4, 2008.

From the videos I learned the 2009 Mo can have auto door locks, powered tailgate, powered reclining rear seats, more responsive CVT and a smoother ride. The video was interesting but the manager doing the talking about the MO seemed out of his element and unprepared to show off the car.

Interesting. Now I will have to rethink my first response to the earlier images. I am impressed with the side body line flowing into and through the tail lights, which I did not like on first impression.

The interior really looks inviting. One of the things I did not care for in the earlier version, seat wise that is. A lot of nice extras make it worth another look.

I really like the EX infiniti but the size (interior) and ride height are troubling items. This day and time ride height is very important vs all the huge vehicles on the road.

Yeah, this may be just what the wife will need. I don't want to sound too girley.

Yeah, it looked like the manager was seeing the information for the very first time. He even had trouble remembering his job title.
