Anti-Glare Mirror & CVT Light

'03 SL (Canadian Package) Just acquired but formerly a demonstrator

Anti-Glare Mirror. Manual talks about turning it On and Off and suggests, warns in fact, to only use when needed. However mine defaults to ON. Can this default be changed by owner or dealer?

CVT Warning Light. As manual notes it comes on for a couple of seconds as car is started. But have not been able to find any other reference to this warning light elsewhere in the manual. Presume if a problem with CVT it may come on, and if so does it flash or is it steady (some other warning lights do both). Assuming it does one or other or both, what significance is attached to either other than pull over and call for help!

I would leave the antiglare feature on all the time. I cannot imagine why you would not want to, all it does is tint the mirror.

As for the CVT light, from my understanding, the light may come on if there is a CVT malfunction or if the CVT fluid temperature is very high.

Lots of squeaks and rattles.
