Variable valve timing

Does the Murano engine feature variable valve timing?

I imagine it does, most new engines do. But I'm curious

That is to say the intake valves timing are variable. Not that the intake itself is variable and not that the exhaust valves are variable and not that the lift of either intake or exhaust valves is variable.

When Nissan was questioned about improvements to the VQ35DE when the Z came out, Nissan replied something to the effect of there is a lot of room for growth.

I've been thinking ever since that one of these days, Nissan will announce the VQ35XX with VVLTI and 9000rpm redline like the Honda VTECH with about 350HP NA.
