Well this part is probably a matter of personal preference. They both look nice and serve the same purpose but on a MO, I like to keep the shape of the front intact. So (to me) adding a bug deflector there makes it look different. The bra on the other hand fits and follows the contours of the hood so it is not very visible and does not take away from the original shape.

That is true of any bra Don. But to my experience actulaly less of a problem with magnet bra because it does not move or flap after it has been installed. And if you wax the car real well and apply the bra correctly (and carefully) you will not have any issues. At least I don't!

You are right Mr. Z (as usual)

I should have collected all cloth or other items that dust can collect under, turn to mud with rain or moisture and then get moved next to the surface of the car. This includes car covers.

It just my opinion that good HARD wax or the peel off clear protector are a better way to go.

I don't like bras on cars or women.

There are exception to all situations I just have not run into them.

Grip-

A proponent of braless?

You'd change your tune if you saw what I saw yesterday on the boardwalk. __ There was this lady with an unbelievable "package". _:eek:_ She must have looked great in her 20's. Unfortunately that was probably back in the "roaring 20s". Not a pretty sight. It added new meaning to the term "tube top".

Strong bump I know. Thinking about purchasing a magnet bra from magnetbra.com on my black 09. Does anyone have one of these on their second gen that can tell me exactly how many inches on the front part if the hood it covers? Thanks.

Under no circumstances would I put any kind of fabric bra over the front of a car long-term. Doesn't matter how it's attached. Eventually it will move and rub against the paint long enough to damage it, even if only from wind pressure.

For me it's clear plastic or nothing.

I already have a bug deflector on my hood, I have a few chips on the front of my hood anyway, and more or less figured this would cover them up. My car is black anyway, so it would not be too visible. Does anyone know how much of the hood this thing covers exactly?
