Thule Cross Bars for 2011 Nissan Murano SL interfere with the moonroof

Hi All,

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with after market cross bars interfering with the operation of the moon roof on the 2nd Generation Nissan Murano's.

I want to buy the Thule AeroBlade Edge 7503B but want to know if I will have any issues with the operation of the moon roof.

Thanks,
Duncan

I have the Thule foot pack and the square bars and it provides more load height off the roof than the factory cross bars.

Yes, I was looking at the Thule AeroBlade Edge 7503 which is lower versus the regular Thule AeroBlade with the Thule Rapid Crossroad Foot Pack 450R (Which makes the bar sit higher).

I'd rather get the lower one, the Edge, but I am concerned that when I put my cargo box on it, and the clamps go down and around the bar, will they interfere with the operation of the moon roof?

Well, Thule says they will fit, and seeing as they have integrated "feet" there is actually more clearance than with my square bar setup. I went with the square bars to give more load space side to side and I take mine off whenever not using them. I assume you want to leave the aeroblades on all the time?
