leaking wiper fluid reservoir

04 murano. wife said wiper fluid was out. added fluid and watched it drip out all day long. doh! can't really tell if it's a hose or crack since it's buried in there. is this a common issue w/ the MO? anyone dug down there? thanks,

Not common at all. But not uncommon to second hand cars. You can pull it out, find the leak and fix it with silicone or plumbers amazing goop. Or find another one in a junk yard. You really do not want to buy a new one $$. Good luck.

thanks. who said it was a 2nd-hand car? i'm guessing it's a hose or possibly a gasket for the pump.

were you able to get to it w/o taking any of the fenders, etc. off? i'm thinking you might be able to get to it through the wheel well.

rockauto has a new pump and reservoir for $40. once i'm in there, i'd probably replace the sensor and anything else as well.
