I have four new, unused Infiniti QX60 20" OEM wheels. I was going to use then on my 2017.5 because I really like the different spoke pattern, but when I purchased the Midnight Edition, I fell in love with the black wheels. I found an extra set of black OEM take-offs for my winter tires, so these need to go. Pic is an online grab so you can tell what they look like. I have Nissan center caps on mine and they are double-boxed for shipping. Currently, they reside down in my crawl space, but I can drag them out and provide pics of the actual wheels if you are interested.

$750 for the set plus whatever the shipping costs.

Take care!

Jim

I would jump on those, but I can get Murano rims with the tires for under $1500. I just don’t want the hassle of buying tires if I can avoid it. The factory does a proper balance, whereas, most shops I have to fight with them to get it done right and the rims are scratched before it’s all said and done.

That’s a good deal though. I will keep it in mind and check around at tire prices. Thank you.

Find a shop that has a Hunter Road Force Balancing machine. It's a double-balancing process where they match the wheel to the tires under simulated road force. This is all I ever use now and frankly, it's better than what comes out of the factory. My dealer installed one last year, so I go there now. Before, it was off to the local Porsche dealer.

Any of the Hunter Road Force Balancers do a phenomenal job. This is their latest version…

Unfortunately I know a lot more about road force balancing and machines than I want. Several times I’ve gone through all of the city’s Hunter-equipped tire shops as I’ve moved around.

The biggest problem with balancing tires is the plastic content and the extreme amount of miles these days that it takes to break tires in. High mileage = long break-in. I wait 5,000 miles now before I worry about balancing. Usually the issues go away.

Well, I guess I should consider myself lucky, as I've never had to have any tires re-balanced after their original mounting. It probably goes down to the person running the machine too. Going to have the new winter tires mounted and installed on Thursday, we'll see if my winning streak continues.

Take care!

Jim

I have even gotten to where I ask for them to be run twice on the machine. Once to balance, and once to confirm. You’d be surprised how many times they had to balance twice.
