2007 Murano D s and L

In snow and ice, is it BEST to use S or L??

I just traded in a very newer Elantra for my 07 Murano and love it but I am not sure what is best in the Murano.
Can someone please explain if I need to change from D to another gear , in snow and ice.
My murano is not awd/ it is just FWD.

Thank you

It won't make much difference.

My rules for snow driving:

1) Don't do anything suddenly (steer, brake, stop)
2) Don't ever come to a full stop if you can avoid it.
3) Go really easy on the gas to avoid/minimize spinning.

If these worked for me in a 1959 Ford, they'll work in a Murano with more weight over the drive wheels.

If you are driving the Murano in normal situations, for example, city, highway, rain, dry, snow, ice, etc... You really have no need to change out of D. Leave it in D and do what Pilgrim said. :-)
