CVT Fluid Change

Hi guys, quick question about changing CVT fluid.

I've watched a few YouTube vids and they all drained about 5.5/6 litres of fluid. However when I went to buy replacement both Nissan and an independant shop said that my car needs just under 10.

Does anyone have any idea how to drain out the rest of the fluid. Also do I need any specialist equipment or a procedure to follow

Thanks!

Just did a "drain and fill" and replaced almost exactly 5 quarts. I generally change the fluid every 40-60K miles when I'm in the mood and no need to completely replace the entire volume of fluid. Just the fact that you service your CVT every so often should help you get many trouble-free miles.
