Sunroof tilt with sunroof cover mostly closed

Interested in modifying the sunroof to tilt to release some of the hot air in the cabin during the hot summer season while having sunroof slide cover mostly closed.

OMG, I wish there was...

My solution was to tint the sun roof with Reflective/mirror type window tint. the kind used for your home. You won't find it in an automotive store. I got it from Lowes in the window blinds section. Seems to help some. I just did it a few weeks ago, so I haven't really experienced it in the hot summer days. But, the few very warm & sunny days this fall. it seems to help keep the heat out.

It's a PITA to put on. the back window worked well. The front one...... schnitz.... got a wicked crease in it.... But. no one see's it except me.... and it's not visible from the out side. So.... meh, let it go.

Plenty of You tube vids for installation.

09 SL AWD, started out with 84K when I bought it.
Just an average DIY'er/shade tree kinda guy
