Did you ever find a holder that works for you? I just bought a 2012 and need a place for my phone and ipod [no bluetooth in mine]

Thanks!

Hey Howdypez,
If you're interested in adding BT streaming and your factory radio has an AUX Stereo or RCA input, the following thread might help.

I've been using the Tetrax XWAY mount for over a year now and love it. It is solid and has never let go. It clamps onto a vent "fin" and is very unobtrusive. It only requires a small metal button on the back of your phone (or case). Cases are available for most phones with this built in but it comes with several different size buttons depending on the size and weight of your phone. It's easy to attach and detach your phone which makes it very convenient. Check it out.

Here's what we use:

KUDA OEM leather iPhone GPS Mount for NISSAN MURANO (since 2009) black
+
KUDAŽ car custom OEM leather mounts for mobile electronicsUniversal passive medium holder for iPhone / iPod / Zune / PDA / GPS

Works great. Very well made and the leather makes it look like a factory piece.

I just picked up this one for my iPhone 6+ and I'm really happy with it. The suction cup is actually sticky as well as a suction cup so it will suction on to surfaces like the textured dashboard. The telescoping arm is a big help with the Murano's gigantic dashboard too.

There's a button on the mount that when you press the phone against it the side arms spring shut and hold the phone. To remove the phone you just squeeze two arms on the side together until they lock, resetting the spring closing mechanism for the next time. It's a pretty slick system.

It looks like the rear of Kuda is screw in according to the picture. Curious if it is screwed into a preexisting nut threaded end?

The Kuda mounts in two places:
1) Under the screw under the side trim on the radio console
2) with a screw driven into the side of the console just behind the glove box so it's not visible.

See the instructions here: http://www.kudausa.com/manuals/081825_kuda_mount.pdf

I'm looking at the following magnetic option from BungaJungle...

Stands and Mounts for iPad, Tablets, Smartphones, Laptops, and Cameras ? Bungajungle

Seems to be getting a lot of positive reviews in the tech blogs. Anyone using one of these?
