  1. Tire sensors and Key fob replacement

    2nd Gen (2009 - 2014)
My local wrecking yard didn't have any in their key fob box, so I guess I'm going to have to buy one.

More "Fun with Keys". I talked to Nissan again, both parts and service. Here's the fun bit. The key fob is the same regardless of whether or not you have the proximity key feature. They don't program the key, they program the car to accept the key. So you can take the Dorman, or a wrecking...
  3. Tire sensors and Key fob replacement

    2nd Gen (2009 - 2014)
I'm going to call Nissan. We have an SL, so it should have a prox key.
  4. Tire sensors and Key fob replacement

So I don't know what the story is, but with our Murano it doesn't start with the key just being in proximity. If we hit the button it shows a little "Insert key dummy" graphic on the instrument panel. Based on what I saw here I changed the battery in the remote but that didn't change things...
  5. Tire sensors and Key fob replacement

I haven't seen where it indicates which tire it's complaining about, is that an option on the screen somewhere?
  6. Tire sensors and Key fob replacement

Hey guys, I have a 09 Murano, and the tire pressure sensor is always on, despite the tire pressures all being fine. Is there a way to figure out which tire has a bad sensor? Also, we only have one key. it's the style where you put the fob into the slot on the dash. Is that something I can...
  7. New to me 09 Murano and SES light already

    2nd Gen (2009 - 2014)
So just an update, I reset the trouble codes, and we've been driving it normally for 2-3 weeks and it hasn't kicked an idle code since, so I guess it's happy. Thanks for all your help!
  8. New to me 09 Murano and SES light already

Ok dumb question, but the directions in the service manual refer to "turning ignition on" and "off" but it's got push button start, so how do I do that correctly? This is the first car I've ever owned that doesn't have a key.
  9. New to me 09 Murano and SES light already

My code reader was showing the idle at about 900-1000 last night, so a touch high. The car has 105K miles on it, so not horrible, but low. Thanks for the manual link, I'm going to download them all.
  10. New to me 09 Murano and SES light already

    2nd Gen (2009 - 2014)
Hello! Just picked up our new (to us) 09 Murrano SL on Tuesday, and I have a SES code already. It's a P0507 which is a high idle. Normally I'd just clean the throttle body, maybe change the idle air sensor, but I noticed something else that I want to ask about because I don't know if this is...
