First of all I would like to thank JAAK and the sweaty Florida guy for posting the installation instructions on the XM radio. You guys rock!

I can't tell you how frustrated I've been over the past month trying to get information out of my dealer, places like best buy, and XMradio.com about getting my SAT button to work on my Murano.
After finally finding out the XM receiver didn't come with my new Murano (which they didn't tell me after I specifically asked them when I purchased it. They told me all I had to do was call XM and have it activated...BS!!!) they quoted me $346 + labor for installing an XM receiver.
So I decided to take matters in to my own hands and check it out for myself...when I stumbled across this web page...thank God!
So I've read a lot of stuff...going on 3 hours worth, but I'm still not sure what I need to order. I have an '04, but I'm not sure it's even pre-wired. So the first question I have is how do I tell if it's been pre-wired? Will they route the harness all the way to the back where JAAK and sweaty Florida guy put their tuner/receiver?
If it has been wired then all I need is the Grubbs $296 SAT radio kit. Right? That kit will have enough lead to get from the roof to the tuner in the back...right?

I don't need the $80 Pre-Wire Kit.
Also it looked like you were using some funky tools (nibblers, skinny sheet metal puller looking thingys..to pull seals, plastic covers, and mats off door/floor). Do these tools come with the kit or do I need to run out and get these?
Thanks,
-Matt
