What year was the Murano first introduced? I'm thinking it was 2003. So there have only been two model years - 03 and 04, with only minor changes between the two. So the car is still considered to be a "1st generation" build. Correct?

I saw an older thread asking if there were any specific "bug fixes" in the 04 models, but no one knew at the time. Any update on this? I can say at 500 miles that our 04 does not have any of the creaks, rattles, steering or other issues reported in some of the 03's.

'03 was the first year.

Good to hear you don't have any rattles. Hopefully it stays that way. We've been pretty lucky with our '03.

You are right! It Came out in 2003, and it is in it's first generation. There are minor differences from the two years. The 2004 SE has a manual shift CVT mode that was not avalible on the 2003 SE. I really cant think of anything else off hand, but if you search the forums you can find some things I am sure.
