So I recently purchased a used 2009 Nissan Murano SL. I have seen that the aux input was located in the back of the center console, however the plugs are missing. I popped open the housing and the male plug is still there, but the femlae connector and the other cords are not. I have been looking all over the internet trying to find the replacement part and even tried searching for alternate setups. I do not wish to rip out the dash and install an aftermarket stereo so I avoided looking for new ones. Does anybody know what I could do? I popped open the housing where the gear shift is and I can see the main connection for the male rca connector. Can I plug something else there to use regular 3.5mm aux?

#1: where rca should be
#2: under the gear shift housing

Any wrecking yards / auto recyclers nearby where you you might be able to find the part?

I am having a similar issue. did you get a solution?
Yes! I am just now seeing this....wasn't really expecting any replies. But yes! That part number is 28318-1ME0A. I found it cheapest from a dealer acros the states compared to where I am. Saved about $45 but I had to wait a few days. Well worth it, however you'll also have to purchase and RCA male to AUX male cord. I got one for about $6 from walmart and it's real heavy duty. Hope this helps! I am.now looking for ways to.customize the connection so it isn't so bulky in the back of the console....would prefer it to be more hidden and compacted somewhere neatly.
