Hi I have the 2010 4x4 version, I just wanted to find out if anyone knows does the 1st gen murano shocks fit the second gen?

FYI: as a basic point about the vehicle, there is no 4x4 Murano. That is a term used for 4 wheel drive vehicles, which the Murano is not. It's AWD (all wheel drive) and the rear wheels only start driving when the fronts slip. The Murano's AWD drivetrain is lighter duty, is not as strong as a 4x4 and it will break if driven like a truck or other 4x4 vehicles.

That said, you can check online parts sources like NAPAonline and see if the part numbers for your vehicle match the parts numbers for the 1st generation.

That is true of all Muranos. They are not 4x4, they are not trucks or utility vehicles, they are not Jeeps or Blazers. They are basically a Nissan Altima passenger car chassis with AWD and an SUV-style body. We have heard about a lot of broken AWD components - often transfer cases - from people who have used them hard.
