2017 Murano vs. 2017 1/2 Murano model

Is there really any difference between the two or was there never a 2017 and they called it a 2017 1/2?. I noticed there is a possible CTV warranty extension on 2012 to 2017 models. I have a 2017 1/2 Murano and curious if I may be excluded from possible coverage?

The 2017.5 offered the Midnight Edition and also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There was probably other small tweaks too. I specifically waited for the 2017.5 as I wanted the Midnight Edition and Apple CarPlay.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe only Apply Car Play was included in the 2017.5.

I think Android Auto came at a later date.

Can’t remember exactly the features that became standard on most of the 2017.5 that wasn‘t standard on the 2017 (but most were optional depending on trim) but there was that. Apple CarPlay and SiriEyes but not Android Auto. I think there was the Premium Plus Package. Ultimately you had access to more safety features and comfort feature on more trims. I remember looking around the time the half year came out but it was funny how unsure a lot of salespeople were in trying to sell it because they weren‘t sure of all of the differences.

One odd difference is that floor liners (like Weathertech) were different between 2017 and 2017.5. I have an '18 and had difficulty ordering liners because mine had the revised 17.5+ shape/size. I don't have a clue as to what is different--either footwell shape (crash strengthening maybe?) or equipment hanging out from under the dashboard.

I bought a 18 and had the same issue. Had to get Nissan floor mats because Weathertech did not have them for the 18 model for several months. Just last week I got some from WeatherTech for my Murano's 5th birthday. I have 50,000 miles on it and figure to keep it at least 5 more years.

I have a 2017.5 SL and Android wasn't offered, just Apple Carplay, to my dismay.
