The report I heard on NPR pointed out that bumpers in many cases are no longer used as protection for the car but are used more as a design statement. I think that is part of the beauty of the Murano, but part of the problem in the area of repair cost.
I just saw the report on my local news station last night. In my opinion, the Honda Pilot had the least damage because the bumper is designed so much different. Also, when it comes down to it, the replacement costs of the Murano parts will be more than the Honda, especially if the Murano is equipped with HID and all that jaz. I can't remember which vehicle needed the headlamp replacement. I believe it was the Murano....does anybody know?
