There is a shield underneath the passenger wipers that prevents snow and ice from going under the hood. But on the driver side it is open and I have to keep digging out the snow and ice to keep the driver side wiper blade clear.First photo without shield on driver's side. 2nd photo with shield on passenger side.

My '19 is the same as yours.

In the future, you should post in the forum that matches your generation Murano...

It looks like yours is a third gen? What year is it?

For my 2020 BMW 540xi sedan, foot on brake, turn car on, turn car off, then push DOWN on wiper control and hold. The wipers execute two full cycles and then stop at the midpoint, essentially perpendicular to the hood. When you turn the car on again, push DOWN on the wiper control, and wipers will return to their stowed position.
