I looked through the Service Manual, but could not find any way on how to do this. I'm very curious as to why you need to???

hey,

its pretty simple... you have to enter into the diagnosis system to do that follow below...

STARTING PROCEDURE
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the audio system OFF.
3. While pressing the “SETTING” button, turn the volume control
dial clockwise or counterclockwise for 40 clicks or more. (When
the self-diagnosis mode is started, a short beep will be heard.)

• Shifting from current screen to previous screen is performed
by pressing the “BACK” button.

in here i think the last option has reset to factory...

also, there is another diagnosis area... do the same thing as above, but press "BACK" instead of "SETTING" this one will take you to the actual radio settings... from there select boot from cold or something along those lines.

While driving in this mode you can see view the camera. Fun for the kids while driving down the road.
