Nissan is planning to replace their X-Trail with the one below in 2007 in Europe. They say it is imitating MO. They are working on it together with Renault, where they will get the engines.
Here is something I found on the web and maybe you in States are also getting this so called little MO:
"The Nissan X-Trail is a compact SUV sold in Japan, Europe, Canada, Mexico, India, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia by Nissan. The company currently offers a hydrogen fuel cell version on lease to businesses. Also sold in Canada and Mexico, it slots below the Xterra. It was introduced in 2001 to compete with such compact SUVs as the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V, but it didn't arrive for the Canadian market until 2004. It will be sold in the United States in 2008 when the X-Trail is redesigned."
