Just purchased my new 06 Murano SL. Love it. Had to sacrifice my Toyota Tacoma to get it. Now that I don't have a bed I need a trailer hitch to tow my father in laws trailer. I'm looking for a good trailer hitch that isn't to gawdy. $352 for the OEM hitch is a little pricey when comparing to low $100's. Anyone have any ideas? Seen some of the drawtites on her but they look kind of big. Thanks.

You can't beat the look of the OEM nissan hitch. It may be the most expensive option, but the only thing you can see is the receiver tube.

Frumunda Cheese-

There's your dilemma. The Nissan OEM hitch is the least gaudy (the only visible part is the receiver), but the most expensive. The other hitches are cheaper, but the horizontal cross bar is visible.

If you want the least conspicuous hitch, go with the Nissan unit.

Try as I might, I can't see (or feel) my Drawtite hitch when I am driving down the road.....
I only have $120 invested total.

Thanks people, Unless someone can sway me the other way I will probably go with the OEM. I understand ekaxel, the whole out of site out of mind but I probably would have gotten it from the dealer anyways if they had one available. Just thought I could find something close only cheaper.

Best Looking Hitch!

I have been searching for a hitch for my '04 murano also.
my search is down to 3 styles.

1)CURT HITCH round tube model #12571 purchase @ drophitch.com
the great people at CURT sent me a photo of a 12571 hitch on a murano.
2)OEM
3)Quality S Mfg. round tube model#239.
Do anyone have a Quality S hitch?

I have a Quality hitch and it is a POS.
Welding is poor, tube is open on ends and paint is bad enough to where it needs to come off for repaint after only ~1000 winter miles. Rusted terribly!
Can you tell how I feel about it?
Maybe in Arizona where they come from it would be marginally acceptable.

Yep, the welds are definetly rough on the quality S.
Mine looks the same as it did when I put it on save for a shot or two here and there of gloss black.
