Had an interesting experience with the snow bank on the bottom of the driveway, that I think everyone should be aware of..

Typical heavy snow fall (20-25 cms)
fairly big snow bank on the driveway. fairly packed snow..

so there I am.. driving through the snowbank and into the garage.. (so I can snowplow the driveway.)

NEXT DAY!!! Watch out..

Driving on the roads speed about 80 Km.. Vehicle start shaking like CRAZY.. What the hell.. check the tire pressure.. they are ok..

Ahh thought comes to mind.. LARGE TIRES.. LARGE SNOWBANK. COLD TEMPETURE.. ICE ON THE RIMS..

I pull over and there is ice on the inside of the rims.... clean them off and away I go..

20 mins LATER.. look down, and the Engine TEmpeture is up higher then normal. .. pull over again.. Ahh. that damn "scoop" that hangs down in the front.. ALL JAMMED WITH ICE..

Moral of the story.. if you are going to play tag with the snowbank.. make sure to clean up properly after...

Heh, don't think I'll have that problem in Orlando. 8)

Sorry to hear your problems but I have to chuckle since snow was the number one reason I moved to a more human friendly climate.
