Hi All,

Long time lurker in here. Lots of useful tips on this forum so i decided to make a contribution i hope this will help people around here.
I bought a used 2009 Murano. Had lots of issues since the original owner didn't do anything except maybe the oil changes throughout the cars life. One issue was that it would smoke on startup. Typical blue smoke when the oil is burning. I know that some G35 do that and owners install catch cans but the real issue is clogged valve cover(s). Valve covers have oil and air separators build inside of them. When the blow by happens the oil and air must separate so only air gets sucked by the pcv valve. If the separators are clogged which prevents oil from draining down to the engine it WILL get sucked by the PCV.

Here is the video for more info

Thanks all!
