Continental is a good company, and their tires are good products. I'm sure the tires will perform decently, but with a new tire, who knows?
As noted in another thread, I like to check reviews on Tire Rack's website to see what people think of tires I'm considering. I can't tell much about performance or behavior by looking at tread, but that tire looks like a pretty conventional all-purpose passenger car tire from the photo.
I note that they say it competes with the Goodyear Assurance tire; I have those on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and they're no more than an acceptable highway tire, and fair to middlin' on snow. I would hope that the Conti has better wet and snow traction.
I need to replace my tires and looking for input. I want it all with quiet ride, responsive handling and tread life. (In that order). Any recs?? Car came with Yokohama Geolander 235/55R20 and they’re... alright. Thanks for input!!
I am new to posting but long time reader so Hi. :)
I just ordered a set of 22X9 ET32 rims and just had 275/40ZR22 wheels put on them. From all I’ve read it should fit with that offset but be darn close to rubbing though.
I was wondering has or does anyone run these size tires and if so does...
Confused! What tires can I substitute for my 235/55/R20 tires? I have a 2009 Murano LE. Hoping to find something reasonable in cost. May only keep this car for another year, as I am beginning to have transmission problems. How important is the "aspect ratio" for my car? I have 180K miles.
Found a small screw in my tread in my winter tires. I pulled it out because it looked small. I don't believe there is a leak but will monitor through the TPMS. I also did the detergent water test and saw no bubbles. Should I leave it alone or try to plug it up with those over the shelf kits?
