The 2014 murano dipstick has 2 cut out slots and a hashmark area off center of the cut outs. Where is full? The top of hashmarks or top cut out? Where is low, lowest cut out or bottom of hashmark? If we go by hashmarks what are slots for? If go by slots what's hashmark for? Where is optimal fill level? Thanks.

It should be within the hashed area (halfway is a good target). The difference between the upper and lower part of the hash area is a very small amount of fluid so add in small increments.

Did you warm the engine up to operating temperature and shift through all the gears before checking?

Yea the service manual states drive around in an urban area for about 10 mins to reach fluid temps between 50 to 80c (122 to 176 f). But I've noticed after driving for quite a bit longer and reaching max temps it will read above full on dip stick. Is that normal or is that the actual reading to go by?
