Went a little off-roading over the weekend to check out our new place that is still under construction. The roads weren't paved yet. While driving slowly through the terrain, i hear a loud scrape. When we got back on flat land, the tranny scoop is cracked. Doh!

So whose got the part number? I read that I may need some clips in addition to the scoop?

So does the OEM puch bar really help "protect" the scoop?

It's possible more than just the scoop was damaged as the down pipe can also be damaged as happened to me.

Here are the part numbers:

2003: 62684-CA000
2004: 62653-CA100


Does anyone know if the 2003 scoop will fit the 2004? From what I here from this forum, the 2003 scoop is metal.

The odd thing is that the 2003 is cheaper.
