Someone educate me please...
Is it me or do the aerodynamics of the swooping rear end cause a lot of dirt to be deposited on the tail of the MO?
Each time I get my baby washed (by hand) , by the time I get home - it looks like I drove in reverse through a sandstorm.
Anyone else observe this?
Does anyone have a thought how to minimize this effect?
Many thanks, a Chicago clean freak.

yep and nope

There are some designed for run of the mill SUV's from Lund and ATS. But our overhang, I think, causes mounting incompatibility.

Kingsize... I feel your pain. Its happens on every car. In the back a low pressure if formed when driving.

The only way I know to help this out is with a "real" spoiler. Take a look on some cars. Toyotas have em. If you could install a spoiler that had a slice cut out through it and was raised up just enough to capture a little air the air would be forced down over the rear hatch. Enough to keep the rear window clear and help to keep some of the dust off the rear too.

My wife's RX300 didn't have one and I installed one and it works great. I wish there was something for the MO. Perahps the 06 will have a redisigned spoiler.
