Just came across the following articles. I guess we all need some reminders from time to time.

Great posts...one thing though...

It says"..Replace the traditional light with halogen or newer, blue (HID) bulb for increase visibility"...

This may lead to the following misinterpretations:
- buy the PIAAA blue bulb and have the ricey look
or
- HID retrofit with rebased bulb, into halogen housing, causing glares and beam cut off all wrong.
or
- run halogen bulb that have higher wattage, and burn the wiring of the car.

I think what scares me most about night driving is white-tail deer. I live in a rural area and travel along wooded stretches to get into work. I leave before 6 a.m. and I do see a ton of them. I've seen them cross in front of me, seen them on the sides of the road getting ready for their mad dashes across the road, and I've seen them calmly walk into traffic and get clobbered as well.

maybe you should mount one of those dear whistlers onto your bumper to help avoid hitting one.
