Hoping someone in here can shed some light. I just lowered my Murano about 3" and all of a sudden I'm getting large amounts of (what looks like brake dust) on my hatch.

At first I thought being lower to the ground created more suction underneath the vehicle and I might just be collecting more road grime than usual. However, after a closer inspection, I noticed the metallic looking dust also cakes up in my wheels. Which leads me to believe that it might be brake dust. So, my question is.....

When lowering a car does it put stress on any brake lines (E-brake) that might be causing this? All I did was change the Springs and Shocks. I did not touch my braking system at all. Any information helps! Thank you.
