Just noticed a scratch on my Mo's front grill. Had to come from wiping her down. anybody notice that the grill scratches easy as it is just plastic? I may seriously consider replacing it for a stainless steel model if it does not hold up well.

After a year of hand washing my Mo, there are no scratches from drying the grill. There are some dings from rocks, but no scratches.

No scratches on mine either. Two years old and I hand wash every other week.

A comment from the snow belt where sand and pea gravel are a way of life. I replaced the OEM grille after a month and after close inspection I noticed it is covered in pits.

It is a light, cheaply made plastic chrome piece, Nissan should seriously consider upgrading this on future models.

I think you nailed it. The scratch I noticed must have been from road salt here in North Jersey. Didn't even notice when it happened. I was surprised with the ligt weight of the grill when I took it off. Reminded me of a piece from the toy models I used to put together.
