My 14 platinum murano's blind spot monitoring system is erratic at best. and when its a rainy day, even worse...

It'll light up the indicators randomly, and beep along with it. when theres nothing around me, and when its raining, its even worse.
cant rely on it when in traffic, (not that you're supposed to soley) because Ive found it very inconsistent.

Its only got 52k miles on it, never been hit and my 60yr old mother who drives highways was the origonal owner.

My gut is telling me its definately electrical, problem is, I have no way of testing or looking up wiring schematics for it.
Im a toyota master tech but as Ive learned, nissan doesnt exactly do things the easy way...
any ideas? any help is much appreciated.

You can download the factory service manual from the nicoclub website linked below. You'll find a wiring diagram and diagnostic procedures in the "Driver Assistance System" file. Good luck and let us know what you end up finding!
