I need help on how to lock the steering wheel of the MO.

I have never locked the steering wheel on my Murano, but then I never really tried. I thought you just pull the key out, and turn the steering wheel quickly to one direction. That should engage the lock mechanism.

Just turn your steering wheel to the right about 20 degrees from straight. I lock mine all the time. Let me know if that worked for you.

I don't think it has so much to do with the amount the wheel is turned, but rather the speed at which it is turned. It is possible to slowly turn a steering wheel and not have it lock on you. However, since the car is off, you'll be giving it a strong tug to turn it, and that usually turns it with enough force to quickly lock the mechanism.

Thanks for all your responses.

Using Eric L.'s 'technique' I was able to lock the steering wheel of my MO for the first time yesterday.

Glad I did not have to go to the dealer for a fix.
