Story time; was giving my mother a lift whilst she was babysitting huskies for a family with a very ill child, as she will need to babysit for three weeks, was left with no groceries and has no car of her own.

We were asked to bring three of the dogs along if we ever left, as they were supposedly destructive if left in the house, but well behaved whilst in the car.

Behold, a car which I have 17 more payments to do on.

Gofundme?
Gofundme?
I'll see what the garage quotes me tomorrow, and how much of it is covered by my insurance.
Gofundme?
And do the dogs' owners think they are in any way responsible?
Cheers

They are taking their kid to disney world, may well be their last trip together, I would rather they not have to concern themselves with this for now. Though we will have a talk about the meaning of "Well behaved" when they get back.

Sorry for the damage. But your good deed and attitude about the situation is commendable.
Not a good situation, but hopefully insurance will cover most of it. I have no idea whether any homeowners' insurance of theirs might help.
It looks like a seatbelt (2nd photo) is totally severed, I wonder how that occurred...

Teeth. My hound chewed through one in less than 5 minutes. Never left in the car again. Dogs belong in packs in the wild, not in cars or homes.

They chewed through all seatbelts in the rear of the car, including the unhooked one that was tucked into the ceiling.

Update. I just put a deposit down for a 2010 Murano. I hear it's a good year.

Insurance won't cover the old one anymore, won't give me a cent if I do the work myself with parts I found off a wrecked murano, and they are paying 75% of the new one, because statistically, the price was dragged down by someone selling their Murano 2500$ two weeks ago. Going to fight them on it.

They sent me to a bunch of absolute lemons, one car so rusted it was see-through, and an SE so old, its leather seats had turned to canvas. It seems "equivalent" holds the same meaning as "Well behaved." Old car was spotless, inspection came out clean, they keep trying to get me to buy cars who's inspection reports read like the monthly schedule of a busy mechanic.

Not the outcome I wanted, but the seats are heated, and the car looks a bit like Darth Vader, so I'll get over it.

Just before being delivered, my new car's left wheel fell off and ripped through the left side fender.
I am... frustrated.

Wheels just don't fall off... Seeing it's back on, I would imagine it was the lug nuts that were not secured properly?

Are you saying it came off just before you purchased it, or just after?

Either way, the party selling you it should accept responsibility.

Hopefully your luck will improve soon...

Well, the engine is knocking and jerking. I am told it's because they ran cleaner through the injectors and it will subside after a full tank has been put through the car. I may well end up returning as per the 30 days waranty. -_-
From what you have shared with us so far, I would return it ASAP.
New update! Had the car inspected, it was clearly involved in a serious accident that was not disclosed to me. Lights keeps burning out and flickering, windshield washer leaks, the drive shaft is off kelter, the brakes were smeared with anti-rust paint, but are basically grinding metal at this point, the suspension is defunct and one of the catalysers burns like the sun. 4500$CAD of repairs to make it safe, dealership won't refund, claims that's only if the car is totaled.

On monday, I am testdriving a jeep wrangler and having it inspected the day after. I liked my Muranos, but new posting is coming in june and if I'm going to get shafted over a car, I'll at least paint it up like the jurassic park vehicles.
The alternator caught fire, car is dead.
